Hiya!

Hello! My sister happened to catch this, but Brighton people here say 'Hiya,' instead of Hi.
So Hiya! :)

Life here as a student is pretty chill. Classes run Mon through Thurs for half of the day. It's been my fourth day here and I think I have settled quite well. I got over my jet lag by tiring myself the whole day, walking around town. I'm getting used to the campus and the bus system, which is so convenient!

Iris and me sitting in front a building I haven't learned on the map yet. haha.
Double Decker. Iris's reflection is in the picture. haha it's no ghost.

So this is my dorm and this is my room. I love the sink and I love the space. Although bathrooms, I mean 'toilets' here are co-ed, I haven't had any awkward instances yet. I hope I won't ever have one! But it's all good. Every time I go into the the toilet, no one is there.
Thank you GOD!

1) Norwich House. The hilliest of them all! Good exercise. :)
2) My bed and k-dawg.
3) I love the sink! So convenient!
4) Closet space. So much space!

I'm still behind in my days for blogging.. but everyday has been basically the same. The morning half of my day I would go to class. The afternoon and evening of my day I would go to town. The joys of shopping on a weekday and on a school day! I feel so independent and grown up and free!

Today Iris, my sister and I hopped onto the bus to go to town. We went to Churchill Square and the North Laines. We went through all the vintage second hand stores, H & Ms, and we went through Primark. We ventured through mom and pop shops and even Revamp Fancy Dress, a very unique shop. Ironically, the shops that sell new, unused clothes are far more cheaper than thrift clothes. Shops here close at 6 p.m. so that would be around the time we'd head back to campus. To think Irvine was bad for closing at 10 p.m. Brighton is worse. Everything closes here around 6 or earlier.

Revamp Fancy Dress. It's like a Halloween shop with
bizarre costumes! Apparently one day of the week, people
dress up in costumes in the North Laines. Kind of like
Harajuku people on Saturdays.
The famous telephone booth! This is near the
Pavilion garden.
Before you step into one, take a
deep breath and hold it. It smells like urine and pigeon poo.

Churchill Square. There are 4 H & Ms in and
around the square. They love their clothing brand.
I love H & M and the British style!

I ended the day with a welcoming face on skype, mi novio guapo! <3

Just the Beginning..

Even though my journey in Brighton just began, I don't know where to start! So to cut the plain words out and to go straight to the vivid imaginations, I'll cheat and post pictures up.

A picture is definitely worth a thousand words... maybe.. a caption will do too. :)

Let's start with an introduction blog?

My name is Trisha. I'm a friend, daughter, a girlfriend, a sister, and I'm a twin.

Brighton Pier. I'm obviously the buffer, but weaker twin! :P

I'm currently in Brighton to adventure.. I mean study Physics..

The North Laine in Brighton. Superb vintage and Indie Shops!

I study because I have to, but I eat because I love to! I love to eat with people!

Haha.. pretending to do h.w. in the Arts Cafe on Campus.

Eating Bangers Bubble & Squeak at The Druid Head pub.
Who knew Bubble & squeak meant left over cabbage and mashed potatoes?
It tasted good before I knew it was leftover food..

Instant Pasta Dinner Night with my sister, Amanda, and Iris
in Norwich kitchen suite. Closest to a home cooked meal! Yum.
I like to adventure too!

1) In Brighton town. Checking out Primark!
The best/cheapest/hip brand in town!
2) Brighton Pier.
3) Royal Pavilion.

Hopefully by blogging, I can tell a tale that's just begun. This is just the beginning ...
