Stonehenge and Bath!

Hello Chaps!

Day trip to Stonehenge and Bath. Thank goodness it was a day trip because I don't think I've recovered from the 5 day trip to Spain.

First stop. Stonehenge. Did you know that henge means hanging in Old English? So Stonehenge, literally means hanging stones. It's weird because a third of these 5 ton rocks are beneath the ground. Stonehenge is soo old that it was considered ancient even during the Roman times. So It's been there for a long time now. It's amazing how mysterious this place is. How the rocks got there and who put it there is a mystery that only God knows. God is amazing!

Next stop and last. Bath. Bath is a city where Jane Austen lived! It's Roman baths is what makes it famous too. Apparently, the bath is where a man got cured from leprosy. He dipped into the natural hot spring and came out all cured. The water color looks pretty from afar, but up close it was so dirty.

The bath was cool. I saw the water bubble and steam.
The city was beautiful!

In Bath, there were lion statues everywhere. Artists decorate these lion sculptures and put them around the city. There are 100 lion statues. I got to see a few of them.
